Christopher K. Pegg was born in Vero Beach and is a member of the Estate Planning and Tax Group at Gould Cooksey Fennell.  He focuses his practice on the needs of his affluent clients. This includes advising them on issues related to income taxation, corporate and partnership taxation, business entity selection and formation, asset protection, complex estate planning techniques, charitable giving and probate.  Mr. Pegg also represents a number of charities and other non-profit organizations. 

In addition, Mr. Pegg is heavily involved in Probate & Trust Litigation matters.

Mr. Pegg graduated from the Florida State School of Law, with honors, and received his LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida. He is also a Certified Financial Planner®.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Pegg worked with one of the largest financial institutions in the country providing estate and business succession services to its wealthiest clients nationwide. He structured and implemented estate planning strategies and various sophisticated business transactions. He was also heavily involved in transactional planning to preserve capital gains for real estate investors and developers. In his role, Mr. Pegg presented seminars on complex and evolving areas of tax law to large groups of attorneys and CPA's.  He then went to work for one of his clients as corporate counsel for a real estate development group with premium resort projects throughout the Florida Keys. He coordinated the company's involvement in various legal proceedings while providing tax and estate planning services to the owners.

Mr. Pegg is a member of the Tax Section and Real Property and Probate Section of the Florida Bar, the Indian River County Bar Association and the Indian River Estate Planning Council.
